The place has gone to hell a fare cry from the days of the 80's when the ball park was being maintained by the city. Furthermore , it was a very pleasing eye catching park with no crime back in the good old days the park seen solid good family times watching baseball games or having a nice picnic on the other side of the park from verious schools in the area . Del Pass park is suppose to be a habitate for wildlife however due to the construction to seal off a public domain from the public it is causing the birds to leave the area also due to the restriction and no access to parking because the city locks the park enterance 24 7 vadelism has destroyed a once thiving place for public use ... hard earned tax money squandered as a result .

I had a nice experience here. If you are looking for a quick getaway from the city bustle, this is a nice place to go for a walk or light bike ride. The trails are beautiful right now (April) with full bloomed flowers. The trails are mostly shaded, and are nice to walk on. I took my cyclocross bike and rode them and it was a really nice way to get my tires on dirt for a change. If you are going I would suggest going with a friend for company and safety because there are some homeless people around, not a lot, just some. Overall, if you are in the area and don't want to go down to the Bike trail, this is a good small quick escape. If you are looking for prettier scenary and a longer walk, I would go towards the bike trail.

This place is full of gay men from 11:30 to 1:30, the park just passed new restrictions signs around the park it is a $1000 dollar fine to go into the woods part of the park or 6 months in jail also, you think the perverts would be scared of getting caught and fined. Also you have to go on the sexual pervert list for the rest of your life, and you will never get a real job again and your family and friends and girlfriend or wife will finally know what you are doing on your lunch break. Idiots!!!!!

I don't know how to get into this park. Every road around the park has signs saying "no parking" or "no stopping". the only parking lot is lock. 10 or so cars manage to squeeze in along the road outside of the park on the west. Mostly it is cars with men who do not get out of their cars to "enjoy" the park. It feels kind of scary. I suspect some illegal activity

Went to the park last night and a white guy short with blonde short hair was smoking meth on the bleachers at 5:30 pm, I walked by and asked him what he's smoking he said meth, and asked if I wanted to buy some, he had his bike and a orange bag he's in his fifty's. Also there is always other people trying to sale drugs. And don't dare walk into the bushes there is really old guys in there 70's and 80's wanting to give you oral sex and Anal why doesn't the county crack down on these low life people there's more low life people then good people, also guys walking there dogs most of them are gay, and have hit on me or have grabbed my crouch, I only went there a couple of times and the stuff these sick people do and say is just wrong. Don't waste your time going there it's the worst park in all off Sacramento. Not a family park for sure, hopefully the cops bust these scumbags.
