Delice European Bakery & Cafe has been in Omaha for 21 years. Delice closed in the Old Market in 2009 but has reopened in Midtown Crossing next door to the Cinema. Diners can find old favorites along with new creations.

The BEST desserts! While not in its absolute heyday (I miss the downtown location) Delice is still where I head for a sweet treat. Beautiful delicious unique European desserts that you won't find anywhere else. Coffee is exceptional as well. I have enjoyed savory offerings in the past as well but find the prices quite outrageous at this point. It's also a great cozy little cafe to hang out with a friend and chat, enjoy the atmosphere and outdoor patio (I love sitting outside on a nice day and people-watching!).

I ordered a 1/2 sheet cake for my mom recently and they told me how much it would cost over the phone. When I got there they told me it was $15 more than what they had originally told me. Basically the baker made a full sheet instead of 1/2. The cake is expensive enough as is but it’s my mom’s favorite. It only bothered me that they didn’t even apologize and the employees just stared at each other. I didn’t have time to argue with them about getting a discount or anything which I wish I could have. Kinda felt like I got scammed. Probably a mistake but still. Don’t know if I should order a cake here again because I had issues last year as well. Would’ve rated lower but the Napoleon torte cake is delicious.

The orange cream cake is a must try. It is so light, yet so tasty. I loved it. $5 extremely well spent

I've been cominng here for about 8 years as a regular. Amazing service amazing food and drinks. Very sad quite upsetting they are closing down

Generally I enjoy this place. The staff is patient and friendly, the atmosphere calm and usually playing the kind of music I listen to anyway lol! Sometimes it can be really busy and if you're there at close, they'll definitely make sure you're aware that they are closing. The food is pretty good. Have not had any sweets there but know many people that enjoy it. The coffee is good and relatively inexpensive. Being able to do a bottomless mug is nice for those times you don't want fancy but want a good amount of coffee.
