The mall is dead just like most of escanaba. There are literally no stores. We could have nice stores in there, bit we don't. I went to use the restroom and the urinal was on the floor. The book store just closed. Come on owners get some business in there.. City wants us to shop local but it's very hard to shop local due to no places to shop for younger folks.

The Plaza has a lot of potential, and has some nice stores, but its suffered from online shopping and changes in customer buying habits.  They have plans for some out buildings with new high profile stores.  Stay tuned.

This mall seems like it's been poorly managed for years. I've heard stories of rents being raised and the worse thing was the Hallmark store's lease not being renewed, with the store being vacant since then. I was hopeful something new would happen with a new company purchasing it, but the only new thing is a church and church child care, which is actually where Hallmark used to be!  They are truly showing their desperation and I'm wondering when the whole thing will shut down.

We mostly go to church at the mall and occasionally go to Maurices. I have a membership through anytime fitness as well so I do enjoy my time at the mall 😊

Not alot in here store wise, but most definitely a place to go and check out. Good deals and a good place to window shop if you ever want to get out and walk.
