DeMers Automotive is a trustworthy full-service auto shop, providing high-quality automotive repair to the Longview area since 1993. At DeMers Automotive, we strive for integrity, and can assure that you will be in good hands.

At DeMers Automotive, our master technicians are ASE-Certified and are more than equipped to get your car back in pristine condition. Our warranty program through NAPA Auto Care Center has you covered for a minimum of two years or 24,000 miles. We offer free 30-point vehicle inspections, complete with a copy of the inspection sheet for your records. If the repair takes longer than expected, we have a courtesy shuttle that will take you to work, home, or wherever you need to be. Most parts are replaced with quality OEM-grade replacements and carry a limited lifetime warranty - replace it once, and never worry about it again!

Price Raping on Parts:  Beware...check out the price of your part first, a small mark up is common, but 30% is robbery....they are mechanics....they charge a hourly rate for the work.  That is where they are supposed to make their money.  

This shop charges 30% up charge on the parts they put on your car. A unknowing person could end up paying hundreds of dollars on a major repair just due to that fact. We planned on having him do some work on our Ford F150, he is pleasant and the shop looked nice. We have a extended warranty on our vehicle and he called them while I was in the shop. He told them he charged $115 a hour for labor, and would get a estimate worked up for parts and full repair of the turbo charger on our truck. We left it there and he knew that we were from Florida and trying to get back home. We left his shop at 10:15 am and at 330 pm when we hadn't heard anything from him, I called to see how things were going. He told me that he kept getting "interrupted" and hadn't called our warranty company back for final approval and hadn't done anything. I reminded him that we really needed to be back on the road home by the end of hte next day. He called a few minutes later and told me that I would need to get on the warranty company because they didn't like the price. Our truck has two turbos and the passenger side was done two weeks ago, so I had a good idea what it should cost. (Our warranty paid for it), I contacted the warranty company the price they were asking was ridiculous. The parts were way out of line and the warranty company told me that there was no way they would pay that price. He cost us a total day of waiting and he didn't do anything but try to stick it to our warranty company, and to myself for the parts they wouldn't cover. We had to take our truck back from them and start over with another mechanic in town. His prices were approved the very same morning, and he charge the same $115 for labor. He got our parts from the very same place the other guy would have....but didn't try to screw us on the price of them. They over priced themselves out of a job. Thankfully we had our warranty company to look after us...if not, we might not have known. I have a large family that lives in the area....he won't see anymore of our families vehicles.

They made my difficult day a lot easier!  LOUD rear wheel bearings led to my frazzled nerves, but I walked out of there with a smile on my face and very quiet car.  Parts were procured in a timely manner, I received great phone updates and the car was done QUICKLY.  As long as I live in the area, I'll be taking my cars to DeMers.

We have had our vehicles serviced by DeMers for many years now and we have always been very happy with the quality of their work.  They are always pleasant and professional so we expect to continue patronizing them for years to come.

$160 to put on brake pads that I had already purchased?!  Claimed it was because "I make money off purchasing parts too."  Sad to see bottom line infiltrate so high into someone's business model.  And to charge over an hour for installing brake pads, severely overpriced.  I would've been a loyal new customer with a lot of return business having just got a new job in the area.  Front desk person was the ONLY highlight to the experience.
