Serving Lunch and Dinner daily with a Western Flair! Not far from Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and right in the Heart of the Black Hills!
Desperados is well-loved by locals and tourists alike and it's been around for a few years. The building was originally the Von Woehrman Building and was built way back in 1885 - 4 years before South Dakota ever became a State! The building is on the National Registry and is listed as the oldest hand-hewn building in continuous use in South Dakota. It's been many-a-things over the years including a fly-fishin' shop, a book store, and for the past several years Desperados Restaurant. While the 2015 Season will debut new owners don't let that get your undies in a bundle! Josh and Rudi plan to keep much the same - you'll still see most of your favorite dishes on the menu including that lip-smackin' salmon sandwich! Of course they'll still have hearty burgers, salads, pastas, mouth-waterin' steaks, fish, ribs, and the best buffalo around with sides fit for the common cowboy - slaw, fries, or those terrific beans! They'll feature some mighty fine specials from time-to-time and they won't forget about your sweet tooth neither! They've been workin' on the wine and beer menu, so plan to wet your whistle while you're there. Whether your an in-law or an outlaw, your always welcome at Desperados!
