Great service. Friendly staff. Quiet dinner with reasonable prices. Nicest place in Keystone, but not formal enough to require fancy clothing or dressing up. 

I had the special of the night, which was a buffalo medallion with a mushroom and red wine sauce alongside garlic mashed potatoes. Very earthy in flavor for the buffalo. Garlic mashed potatoes were great. Bits of ham mixed in and not overly garlicky.

Definitely go here if you are in Keystone. I wish we had eaten there every night. The Ruby House overcooked all their meat and fish and seemed afraid to season anything. The Powder House doesn't seem to share these fears. Everything was cooked and seasoned wonderfully.

Stayed here for two nights. Cabins are OK, We stayed close to the road. 
Restaurant is very good. Excellent food for breakfast and dinner.

We stayed in a cabin for a week and it was very pretty inside and had a loft which my sisters loved. We had a kitchen with a sink in our cabin so it served as another bathroom vanity because I brought a portable mirror. The maids even made our beds even though bikes were around the whole bed. They must be very tiny 😂😂  The cabin is beautifully decorated with the nicest pullout couch I have ever slept on. There is a "heated pool" but it is very cold. Overall great experience and amazing hotel staff 10/10 would stay again

I told the staff as I was leaving that I only write reviews if my experience was really great, or really horrible.  In this case, it was really great!  Outstanding ambiance, great food, wonderful service and good prices made for a perfect evening for my wife and I.  The stuffed quail were amazing and the portion was very good sized.  The pasta renzo was one of the best things I've ever tasted, almost asked my wife to switch!  The wait staff is professional and attentive, drinks were good (although I wish they had more on tap) and the charm and decor and very homey!  If you get the chance to have dinner here, don't miss it!

Just left this morning. Cute place! Very clean, super comfortable beds. We didn't eat at the restaurant (menu was expensive) but fellow guests said food is fabulous. Clean nice pool & playground. Kids loved it. Keystone and Mount Rushmore are super close. 
Only con: right on Hwy 16 but well insulated so zero road noise when doors and Windows are closed. 
Definitely would stay again.
