It is difficult to write a review about a gym; Exercise can look like, and mean, various things to ranges of individuals. In the few sessions I have attended at the Detroit Body Garage the staff has been knowledgeable, organized, and most of all, welcoming. For me, it has been excellent to see an owner that fosters care and appreciation in the community, all while creating workouts that are upbeat and engaging. I am confident that whatever your exercise need, those at the Detroit Body Garage will not disappoint.

Visited the body garage multiple times now. I have been consistently impressed with the quality of the classes. Terra and her team do an excellent job teaching in an engaging, positive and constructive way. I highly recommend checking this place out.

This is the only gym I've ever gone to that I actually look forward to visiting.  The owner (Terra) is super welcoming and involved in the community, and the workouts will beat you up in the worst way. I love how they focus on correct alignment and accommodate for any injuries. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new gym in Detroit.

Whenever I come to Detroit Body Garage I feel very comfortable and excited for the next hour. The classes are challenging and motivating. I especially love the yoga classes, I look forward to my next visit!

I never feel judged or out of place, and especially a part of the team from all the coaches! I love that I’m able to personally know them!
