In 1991, our founders Vicky Mitchener and Al Dickens set out to create a real estate agency unlike any other in the Charlotte region. Already highly successful agents in their own right, they wanted to create an agency that would simplify the entire transaction process, while simultaneously providing clients with the ultimate real estate buying or selling experience. After assembling a team of the area’s most knowledgeable professionals, our leaders then integrated the use of the latest technologies and most advanced marketing concepts to create a business platform based on shared information and team communication. They installed computers for data management, a revolutionary upgrade in 1991, and they also implemented a shared marketing program that each agent could access for self-promotion. This thoughtful approach to agent support quickly translated into sales success and established Dickens Mitchener as Charlotte’s best source for residential real estate.
