Came into this Dillard’s to purchase a Michael Kors purse for my girlfriend. The minute I entered the store I was watched and followed everywhere by an elderly security guard. Once I found a purse that I thought she may have liked, I quickly snapped a picture of it and sent it to her to make sure that she would like it. The already invasive security guard came rushing over to me to inform me that pictures weren’t allowed. When I informed him of the situation he then proceeded to tell me that he did not care. No where was there a sign that indicated “no pictures” and the merchandise was hardly expensive enough to create a reason for the rudeness. After stepping away from the purses, he proceeded to follow me throughout the rest of the store. As a 20 year old shopping alone, I felt like I was being targeted as a thief or someone up to no good, even though I was planning on spending a good chunk of change. Because of this I decided to go online and order the purse for a cheaper cost than they had in the store.

Attempted to return a dress I bought on clearance here today & encountered the rudest sales associate I have ever met. Apparently the dress I purchased had a three day return policy on it (which was never communicated to me). When I told the associate I had a return she realized it was a clearance dress and instead of communicating the policy to me she was extremely rude and acted like I was personally offending her by returning the dress. I have worked in retail for over 4 years and the appropriate way to handle the situation would have been to politely explain the policy. I didn't argue with this woman or the policy I was just unaware of it . She was awful & needs a serious god damn attitude adjustment. Her name was Diana & I hope she doesn't work in customer service for long.

Used to have the best suit department when they had Jason Dozier working there. Wouldn’t go anywhere else have spent thousands on suits and shirts and ties through Jason. Sent friends for suits and they have done the same. Jason was the best at fitting and finding the suit that was perfect as well as custom fitting suits. Customer service was excellent with him as well. He knew your name and was always smiling and ready to help. I don’t know what you did Dillard’s Mgt. but you screwed up losing Jason.  We have been in there 3 time in the last two weeks looking to spend a hefty amount on 3 custom suits. There isn’t anyone to help you. Bobby is rude and has no idea what he is doing with suits. I would have as much faith in asking him for help with a suit as asking him about how to fix a car. He doesn’t know what he is doing and doesn’t belon in the suit area. You  Not the first one we have walked out due to his attitude and ineptitude. The other staff are just as useful. They have no idea because they aren’t specialists. My wife went in for a red tie and the clerk just told her good luck she had to pull it off the maniquen herself. Ridiculous. Jason was a specialist and your suit department was top notch. We drove over 200 miles to meet with Jason. I wouldn’t drive 5 miles to deal with your staff now. I truly do not think you realize how important a good suit store is. In an area that has none. You have taken for granted many professional workers who have to wear suits day in and day out, that they would be ok to deal with your low standards of professionalism you seem to be ok with now. Not gonna happen. Your suit department is no more. I guess the many thousands of dollars your losing in that department isn’t a big deal since you let workers who harass customers stay there and lose great specialists like Jason who keep customers coming in. I hope you fix this soon or your store will be another in a long line of stores to close down in that mall.

Good selection of mens clothing. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work!
