Went in a party of 8. Small boat, three staff, so I thought it a high ratio of staff to passengers. All staff were extremely knowledgeable and made every effort to share their stories. They seemed just as excited as we were, if not more, to be out there! Wasn't just about whales, they were keen to share knowledge of resident bird and mammal life plus a scenic tour around a beautiful stretch of the islands. Thanks everyone for a wonderful morning.

Excellently run whale watching company. We opted for the faster, "wind in your hair," Western Explorer boat and had a blast! Saw a huge pod of the transient whales and were lucky enough to catch a porpoise killing which included some beautiful pictures and memories. We were even given some pictures that the captain was able to take as a free download as a token of appreciation. Highly recommend this company and will definitely be back!

Just a short note to say we thoroughly enjoyed our excursion on Aug 1st 2017 @ 3PM. Kris was so friendly & personified the feeling of wanting us to have a great time. Her narratives of the Orcas was very educational & caring which enhanced our trip. Nancy was great as our Captain & handled the boat extremely well, as I would know, having been a boater for more than 50 years. Will recommend your company to all that are interested in a tour.

We enjoy our whale watching tour with western price, crew is very knowledgeable and friendly, they are a little behind on our tour because of the fog but they did not short us on time, we seen 4 orcas that day, Sea lion, bald eagles and seal.

Actually went twice in 3 days! The first day we didn't see orca but we saw a couple of humpbacks. We wanted to see killer whales, so we booked then again 2 days later. The second time we saw a large pod of orca with a baby and followed them for at least an hour. The naturalists (Nina and Katy) and Captains (Pete and Mike) were excellent. Great humour, well versed, and even when there weren't any whales around they provide lots of information on birds, seals, etc. The boat itself was small enough to feel like you were close to the animals. Some bigger places have huge boats where I have found it hard to get a good look at the whales. It was clean and easy to move about. People with young children were able to have them up at the bow with no problem. The staff in the office is great, too. I forgot to register as a teacher, and once they found out, they refunded the difference with no fuss. Absolutely excellent experience. There is a reason I booked them twice instead of going elsewhere for another try at orca. I wouldn't look anywhere else. (The inflatable looked fun, but wet.)
