Not sure how the receptionists got their job. The receptionist at the gate didn't know about their own rule. She sent me away for not able to provide two proofs of Virginia residency, while transferring title and registration from other state requires only one proof, as explained in DMV website. She ignored me no matter how I explained it. I came back at a later time, and a different receptionist gave me a hard time. I got in in the end and got everything done with only one proof of residency. The receptionists are totally incompetent and unhelpful.

Totally incompetent at this location. The Asian male screening everyone before giving you a slip of paper with your number on it was extremely rude and unhelpful. He stated that electronic copies of my registration and title were acceptable. After waiting two hours, my number is finally called only to be told by the worker and manager that electronic copies were unacceptable forms of documentation. What purpose do the workers serve who are supposed to be screening all the customers to ensure they have the proper documentation for what they are trying to get accomplished? If the best they can do is give you a number, a machine can more efficiently perform this task. Don't have to pay a machine a salary and benefits for that.

I showed up at about 10:30 to get a new license. By the time I finished filling out my paperwork, I was called up, took my picture and left. Very quick and efficient. It's also nice that it's in the mall, because if you had a long wait you could go grab food or shop or something.

The skip the line paper is not really skip the line. After waiting the whole long line, we finally got to meet someone and the DMV worker gave us the paper and said we could skip the line when we come back next week since they could not verify our paperworks and needed more time. We came back after they called us that they verified us and we could come back. We came back and the guard said no, you could skip the line if it is the same day and when I told him the DMV worker said you could come back anyday. He said yes but not today. He was being very unreasonable and trying to not let us in no matter what.

Unfair security .! Very rude and impolite people .! The security is untraditional in there duty .! I wish to leave 0 star if there was a chance .! I got in dmv at 11:33 and got number .! Went out for work for few mins by letting guard now about the work .! When I was back they didn’t allow me which is stupid thing I have even seen any dmv.! Even in other state too.! Try improving yourself plz it’s causibg trouble for people
