One of my favorite spots on the east coast. From the food to the beautiful views to the super clean rooms to the wonderful staff, this place is top notch. Every morning there is a complimentary buffet breakfast in the old main house on a beautiful sprawling lawn over looking the harbor. You like boating? They own the marina attached to it and you can rent a Boston Whaler for the day. Take a boat ride out to the Isle of Shoals and see seals and whales if your lucky enough. Then end your day at the restaurant with beautiful views and some amazing food. It is family owned for generations and the owners are the heart of this place, they not only work there but there but they are the ones greeting you and showing you to your room and seating you at your dinner table. If you want a laid back experience with 5 star food and customer service, this is the place for you. It is a truly a special place and I can't wait to come back again and again!

I drove 40 minutes to try this place out only to find a sign  saying they were closed for a wedding. Very disappointing. Next time they should post they are closing online.

We have been going to the Dockside every year for years now and it never fails to exceed expectations. The location is gorgeous, the staff super friendly and the food is always top shelf. And what a wonderful spot for a wedding on the Maine coast! I truly feel at home when I get there, especially when we stay at the Inn which we always try to do every fall.
I  recommend The Dockside on York Harbor to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience in southern Maine!

Dockside Deck tiki bar is a perfect way to spend an early summer evening! Great views, balanced menu, and outstanding libation (not to mention an excellent bartender!) Go there =)

Birthday lunch.
Crab cakes were dry, over cooked, too breadie with very little a crab or crab flavor. Aoli  had very little flavor, potatoes seemed like yesterday's warmed up.
Three of us ordered these and all of us were very disappointed. Had to ask for refills on ice tea. It was not crowded.
