Very courteous, respectful and professional staff. I really liked the warm cookie when you check in. That was a warm and nice gesture. The rooms are immaculent and are up to date with the current trend. There is also a really nice restaurant on site at the hotel. Food was delicious! I enjoyed my stay here.

It is all in the friendly staff who make it a home away from home. Ron at the front desk won't forget your idiosyncrasies and provide customer care specific to your guest-needs. He followed-up with me the next day because he knew I inquired about the Yoga class hours; he had looked them up while I had already forgotten. No matter how busy he gets and how long it takes with one customer, he will make you feel that you are the priority and will not be distracted. He is fully present unlike many people nowadays. Thank you Ron for your professionalism and care when we are out on foreign roads. Then there is Brenda, our server at the restaurant. While I sat alone waiting for other guests, Brenda made sure she gave them extra TLC in warm smiles, hottest coffee brew, follow-up to my 'hunger needs' and she had it all covered, friendly and a sunshine to start your morning. Now that's above and beyond to customer service. That's "you matter" service and Brenda will make sure you know it. This is the place of all places. Thank you *TEAM*.

Staff is very curteous! Definitely customer-service focused. During our stay, the city was temporarily turning off the water in the block. That caused the pipes on our floor to make very loud noises for about an hour around 11pm. The staff was upstairs in minutes of us calling and gave us, along with our neighbors, half off of our stay. Really appreciate how quickly they moved on this!!

The folks who work here are very helpful and kind. The hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired however. I was traveling for business, not looking for lux accommodations ... but still. You can do better doubletree. There were insects (dead and alive) on the window sill and a relatively significant gap around the door. If it weren’t for the staff, I would have given 1 Star.

There were ants all through our room, our non-smoking room smelled like smoke, and there was dirt in our sheets and they smelled as if they weren't washed. The staff was quick to fix it but they weren't really friendly about it. The new room was a lot better.
