Dr Kaelin is wonderful he done my shoulder 25 years ago when no other surgeon would touch it and thank to God and a amazing surgeon I have full use of my arm today. Eight months ago I hurt my left knee and he did my surgery and it is doing well. I am going today for my right knee results from my MRI and see what needs to be done. I would not go to any other orthopedic surgeon. Dr K thank you and your staff for all the amazing work you do.
Dr. Kaelin is an amazing Orthopedic and gentleman. He found my diagnosis only after meeting with him for a few minutes. Shortly after, it was aligned with imagining. He fixed my arm and I am on path to recovery. If Dr. Kaelin was not a surgeon, he could be a therapist and/or a minister. Very good bedside manner, truly cares about patients and people.
The office staff is great especially Amanda however the rest is a different story. On initial visit I was told both feet are broke and would need surgery asap. After a 10 min consultation with the surgeon he said the same thing. This was followed with a call from the surgery center saying bc i have not met my deductible I would need to pay in full before they would do the procedure. Something didn't seem right so I went to a specialist at Vanderbilt and they said no surgery at the moment. They put a cast on and said stay off your feet and come back in 4 weeks then we will determine if surgery will be necessary. It seems to us that Kaelins office was just looking for money and not what is in the patients best interest
The doctor kind of shrugged and sent my daughter home with a brace and sling that didn't fit right, no instructions on how to put it on correctly at home, and "I don't know, maybe a CT scan?" Like I'm supposed to know that? The office doesn't answer their phone, only an answering service is available and I have yet to get a single call back from them. This is my second bad experience with them and I won't be going back. Radiologist was super, though!
The most caring qualified Doctor - available 24/7 and he means it. I had major shoulder issues and i am getting stronger everyday...Thank you Dr. Kaelin!
Unfortunately I have had a very bad experience with this practice, Dr. Kaelin is amazing but however Joe the NP isn’t every time I have had to see him nothing is fixed and the problem isn’t solved and this last visit wasn’t any different 3 weeks ago I tore my rotator cuff he only did an x-ray and tried to give me a shot where it wasn’t needed I’ve been out of work for 3 weeks due to this pain that is just getting worse I stated I needed a 2nd opinion from Dr. Kaelin and then I call today to make an appointment with him and I had been dismissed as a patient WOW REALLY and this isn’t the first time this has happened to with Joe it’s actually the 2nd retirement is near for him he is grumpy and mean
Dr. Kaelin is the best. He truly care about you. I’ll never go anywhere else. I highly recommend him.
Dr Kaelin is one of the best Orthopedic Surgeons around and shows concern for your injuries.
