I was puzzled by the one rambling negative review on here. I have always found Dr. Kamlet's office to be extremely easy to reach, capable, and I have never had a hard time seeing him. He has always been caring and thorough. I have felt like I had good care for many years. He is switching to a private membership practice, so unfortunately I have to move on. But he gave me good care for over 15 years.

I chose my insurance policy this year based on the network - wanted to keep Dr. Kamlet as my PCP. I don't have major medical issues but each time I have seen Dr. Kamlet I feel he gives me very common-sense, well-thought-out recommendations. The sinus infection (that I thought was something much worse) is abating now that I'm follow his treatment. My only concern is that he is only on a couple of insurance networks, and the one I've chosen just raised their rates for next year by almost $100 - not good considering I hadn't even used it (until last week) and probably will never reach my $2000 deductible.

He made a serious error in diagnosing my husband's condition and I will never forgive him for it. My husband is such a nice guy he didn't want to pursue any legal action; instead, he just suffered in pain for months because Kamlet gave him antibiotics and sent him home when he needed to be operated right away. I can't recommend this guy to anyone.

Having Doctor Kamlent as my PCP, makes me feel that I do have a friend or Family member taking care of my health, not just a doctor that thinks I am good only for my insurance. I do thank God for sending Doctor David Kamlet to be my PCP Rev. Fr. Tomas Del Valle-Reyes

Dr. Kamlet is a wonderful doctor. I'd been having terrible stomach problems and had seen a number of specialists who suggested various surgeries/procedures. I decided to visit Kamlet to get thoughts on what was going on. Rather than rushing to suggest medicines or surgery he talked to me (for about 30 minutes in fact) about my lifestyle, diet, medicines I was currently taking, etc... he then discovered that I was having a reaction to a medicine I was taking. He prescribed probiotics and told me to stop taking the other medicine. Within days I was back to my old self without extensive procedures or surgery! I'm so grateful for this. He really takes the time to talk with patients. Every time I visit he spends time talking to me before examining me and then again after in his office. It's refreshing to have a doctor who values the importance of communication versus jumping to the quick and easy solution.
