I would never go to Dr Goode again. Based on a digital exam of my prostrate and a PSA score of 4.2 he told me that he was sure I had prostrate cancer and would need radical surgery. He schduled me for a biopsy and told me to be prepared for the worst. Before my appointment for the biopsy, I called his office to ask questions, but Dr. Goode never returned my call. Later I canceled my biopsy procedure because I just felt unsure of Dr. Goode's overly aggressive attitude regarding treatment. It just felt wrong. Canceling that biopsy was the best thing I ever did... I went to another urologist for a second opinion. My new PSA test came in at 7 (still elevated), so he recommended a 4K test. My 4K score came in at 2, meaning no cancer. You can imagine the relief we felt. It was so worth it to move on to another doctor. In conclusion, study up on the things your urologist is recommending. There are so many more accurate and less/non-invasive diagnostic and treatment methods available. It is a VERY important decision. Prostrate biopseys are dangerous and not even necessary 30 to 50% of the time. A 4K test should be the first test after a high PSA result and if you need a biopsy, go to a Dr that does MRI guided biopsey. If that means leaving Reno then do it...

Can't say I'd recommend this facility, but then after getting an appointment for my wife a month in advance, drove hour and a half to get there on time (told 10:30 check-in for 11:00 appointment), waited more than a hour with no results -- didn't even get to talk to the PA, Corinne Jewel, let alone any doctor. All new patient paperwork was done on-line weeks in advance, so there was nothing to hold up the appointment other than what appears to be a terrible scheduling nightmare. Then drove another hour and a half to get home. This appointment that was set up was a recommendation from a Renown Hospital Cardiologist, but if that's how they treat new patients, we'll go elsewhere. Good Urologists in Carson City closer to home besides.

Corrina Jewell is a great doctor. Go see her if you have any urilogical issues.

I have been going her over a year for my daughter, the doctor she has is amazing, she will work with you, stay to examine things easily for you. Doesn't rush you out the door, and very at home kids d of person. Really gets one on one with you. I've had issues with other doctors at other places and they can never answer my questions and she does! We still see her and I'm very happy with the results as so far it's checking in and up on my daughter to make sure what she has is gone and does check ups to make sure through the year to make sure it's gone and we are finally in the last step of just check ups. She's an awesome and amazing doctor and I have already reference 2 other parents to her!!

My father's first experience was great with the doctor, but they have recently have changed there fax number and we have had problems with getting his prescription filled I have called more than once and the pharmacy has faxed the new number over and over asking for conformation on the new fax number and have not received it back. My father is now out of a prescription he needs so I called after care number and the lady was rude and short with me. She ended up calling the on call doctor who said that it wasn't an emergency to get him his prescription even though he ended up in the hospital for an issue he has when not on his medication. They told me that prescription refills need to be taken care of during open hours I totally agree but when I call over and over again and they say it's done then come to find out its not unfortunately it's now the weekend it becomes urgent. So I figured just send a fax to the pharmacy and say it's your new number not that hard. But unfortunately for the on call doctor it is.
