6 weeks ago Dr. Phillips performed a triple fusion in my lower back. (TLIF). I was very apprehensive of surgery because of a blood problem. He explained what he was going to do carefully. And his staff answered any questions I had, and there were quite a few. The discs were in such bad shape that I was using a cane and even had a wheelchair for one day during our last vacation. The leg pain was so severe I rarely slept for more than 3 hours in a row. I was in the hospital 3 days and when I came home I was pretty sure my leg was better. Today I have NO pain in my left leg. My knee has feeling again. And I can feel my toes. I had no idea how badly I felt and am amazed I can walk again. Dr. Phillips has been very kind to me and to my husband as we asked 100 questions. I would trust him for anything back related. I honestly feel I have my life back. I’m planning on hiking in Colorado with my family. Finally!

I went in earlier this year, and was seen by Dr Phillips. I appreciated his straight forward approach, and his confidence in what needed to be done, put my wife and I at ease. He is someone that I have complete confidence in, and his staff has been amazing in supporting him. They are always friendly, and quick to handle any requests that I might have.

Dr. Phillips "squeezed" me into his schedule on January 12th, 2015. I was quickly seen, sent for an MRI, and surgery was scheduled for the following morning. I have had no pain since surgery. When I returned to his office 5 weeks later, I spent almost no time in the waiting room. A follow-up X-Ray was taken, I was seen by Dr. Phillips, and then I was on my way. I just want to say thank you for the prompt way that Dr. Phillips and his staff handled both of my appointments. I am a fan of Dr. Phillips of the Nebraska Spine Center! -S. Nixon

Last December, Dr. Phillips performed an ACDF on me, and I cannot adequately express how grateful I am to him. Prior to surgery, he took ample time to explain the procedure and prepare me for the expected recovery time. Because I was so well-informed, there were no surprises, and thus, less worry for me. Now, three months later, I am proof of Dr. Phillips’ remarkable surgical skill and expertise. My surgery was difficult and challenging, and I am beyond lucky to have had a surgeon who would accept nothing less than a superb outcome. And the outcome has indeed been superb: my pain has been eliminated and I’ve resumed my normal daily routine. I could not have asked for a more gifted surgeon. Thank you, Dr. Phillips.

Went in to see about surgery for a herniated disc. Dr Phillips was so cocky and seemed offended when I asked any questions about the ALIF procedure he suggested like he thought I was questioning his knowledge. The worst part is when I asked about the success rate, he said... and I wish I was lying.. "The only people that it seems to not be successful on are Mexican workers. No matter if it worked or not they always say it doesn't". WOW... maybe he couldn't tell I am half Mexican. Either way that is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard a doctor say. I called my Primary Dr and told them this and they are scheduling me somewhere else.
