Washington DC's premier dental practice for Restorative, Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. Our mission is to provide our patients with optimal oral health in a professional, caring environment!

Dr. Levin has been providing top quality dental care for over 35 years in the Washington, DC area. His concern for his patient’s comfort and well being, gentle hands and humor help patients feel at ease in his office. Dr. Levin is considered a master in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry and is usually the quarterback for treatment involving dental specialists. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the DC Dental Society and the Maimonides Dental Society. Originally from New York, Dr. Levin attended Columbia University, College of Pharmacy and Howard University, College of Dentistry.

You might think that all dentists are the same, but they aren't. I have been going to Dr. Levin for a couple of years after a friend recommended him, and I have never regretted it. He is conscientious about patient's needs and he recommends additional work only if you need it - and sometimes you do need it.

After admittedly going too long between dentist visits, I chose Dr. Levin's office because it was close to my office, and they accepted my insurance. Upon my first visit, I received a thorough cleaning and exam. The hygienist informed me I would need to come back for an additional cleaning in two weeks--my fault for waiting so long between cleanings. After the examination, Dr. Levin remarked that I had a very healthy mouth. The only issue he wanted to address was replacing a single filling that was starting to decay. So I returned a few days later to have the filling replaced. Again, he finished to say things looked great, and he'd see me in six months. 

Today I returned for my follow-up cleaning and polishing. After the hygienist finished, Dr. Levin performed another quick exam. Momentarily, he remarked, "There are only two small things I'd like to fix. You have two old fillings that are beginning to decay."

"And why didn't we fix this when I was here a couple of weeks ago?" I asked, annoyed.

"Oh, I just wasn't looking that closely then," he replied. 

Needless to say, this should NEVER be something a dentist tells his patient. Upon checkout (and after paying another large payment that would bring my running balance after insurance to close to $300.00), I was asked to schedule that additional appointment. 

I will be looking for a new dentist more closely than Dr. Levin looked at my teeth.

Dr. Levin and his staff are amazing.  I was referred to Dr. Levin by another DC practitioner and I could not be more impressed.  When I arrive on time for an appointment, I never have to wait.  The office is conveniently located, bright, and always clean.  Everyone on Dr. Levin's staff is friendly and welcoming.  The office handles insurance issues without problems.  When I had to have additional work done, Dr. Levin's office referred me to an excellent periodontist.  I highly recommend Dr. Levin.
