I have been coming to United Dental Group for some time and they are billing scammers for sure. I had a deep cleaning done in 2015 - the dentist required that I come back every 3 months but the front staff never mentioned that my insurance company would only cover up to 2 visit a year. They only mentioned it after they billed over $100 me for the 3rd visit. I called the manager and eventually got it worked out due to my family members having credits on their account but the headache.... More recently, I noticed some pain in my gums. I Web M.D'd myself (I know, silly move) and thought it was a hole in my gum. I immediately thought gingivitis. I go in for a consultation and the Dentist Assistant tells me I need another deep cleaning. They took x-rays and had a dentist (with a Russian accent) come talk to me. And she agreed I needed another deep cleaning. Deep cleanings are not cheap! $300! And they're painful. But after the previous billing scam, something told me to get a second opinion. I go to another dentist and they tell me it's not a hole in my mouth but a common virus! They did some laser treatment which made me feel better instantly. (United Dental told me there was nothing they could do for my gum pain) I asked the dentist did I need a deep cleaning and they said NO! I only needed a regular cleaning. I should be shocked but I'm not.... that's exactly why I went and got a second opinion. I cancelled the two appointments I set up for the deep cleaning immediately. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Do not go to this place. They are scammers in the worst way.

ZERO Stars. Absolutely the worst experience. Overbilling, scares their patients into getting unnecessary dental work done. Five oral surgeons passed on taking my wisdom teeth extracted because of nerve damage, and after an oral consultation they said I should do it that same day. When I asked if I could go back to work, they said of course, as long as you don't have to speak. Wisdom teeth extraction is at least two weeks of healing, and now I have paresthesia and still cannot feel my lower lip or chin and have a dry socket on top of it. During the process, no one answered my questions or gave me proper guidance or instruction on caring for myself post-extraction. I went back to work as instructed and within an hour after the novacaine wore off I was in tears and uncontrollably groaning from the pain. I had to miss several holiday parties, service events and take days off work because there was no preparation. If I could sue for malpractice, I would.

Great customer care, and even better customer service. They went above and beyond to resolve a clerical error for me, which was very much appreciated!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I do not even know where to begin with this office, but I have battled with their incompetent staff and front office for nearly 2 years, and after a litany of problems, misinformation, shoddy work, and fraudulent billing problems, I will never be returning. The front office staff has a very high turnover, and the manager (Rose) is extremely rude and will say anything to get you off the phone or out of the office as fast as possible. The staff consistently provides wrong information, and on multiple occasions has "lost" important documents from my chart, causing delays in insurance refunds as well as other problems. The front office is a nightmare, but the back of the house is just as bad. The assistants seem clueless, and every time I come there, the exam rooms are not adequately stocked and the tools the dentist needs are not available. The dentist and the assistants seem too busy and therefore do not provide good care to the patient. They are constantly running from room to room, and cause appointments to run over the scheduled time and for shoddy work to be provided to the patient. DO NOT go to United Dental - there are so many other qualified and decent dentists in the area that will save you the tremendous time and hassle that i have dealt with at this office.

Horrible experience. I went in for a cleaning and was told I had two cavities and need a deep cleaning. (They didn't do the regular cleaning btw)I have never had a cavity btw. So I was suspicious. The dentist said that I had pockets and Bone loss and basically scared me into thinking my teeth were going to fall out . The dentist I saw was Dr. Catanzano. She scheduled me for two separate appointments for this very expensive procedure that your insurance will only pay if it is medically necessary. So had the first one done ( one side of your mouth ) I paid my copay wich was close to three hundred dollars. I revived my Explanation of Benefits and my insurance denied the claim. Their consultant decided it wasn't medically necessary. So then the dental office say it was my choice to have this done and I'm responsible for the remainder that the insurance did not pay! Now remember I still never got my regular cleaning and only one side of my mouth has been deep cleaned. I keep leaving messages for them to call me back because I called the insurance company myself and was told that the Dr needs to write a narrative and send it to the appeals board. I leave messages after messages no return phone call. This place is horribly dishonest and takes advantage of their patients. Do not go here !!!!!
