Just as the person from 2011 said I went through the same exact experience yesterday. I was involved in a car accident and my neck and shoulder have been bothering me, so I went in. He aggressivly lifted my arm over my head, in which I have not been able to do so since the accident, I'm yelling ouch and that hurts and he continued doing it. Then I had to go get X-rays, in which the room smelled and the guy put his hand on my chest near my breast to turn me, I had to tell him do not touch me there, ask me to turn where you need me or turn me by my shoulder. SMH. Then Laughlin injected me 4 times with the cortizone shot, my mother was livid. And he told me in 3 weeks I will follow up with him and I will be better. Either way it goes, I will not be telling him if I am better or not. I STRONGLY SUGGEST NO ONE GOES TO THIS OFFICE.

I was very dissatisfied with my overall experience here. I felt like part of a herd of cattle at the office - they called back 4-5 people at a time; then the nurses breezed through the rooms to ask some questions (with the doors halfway open - not any privacy); then Dr. Laughlin came through for about a minute. He felt down my back and called out some numbers (trigger points?), told me I needed some x-rays (which I had already had, but they had told me not to bring), and informed me that they were going to give me some shots. I didn't realize that he meant I was going to go down to the x-ray department right then and come back immediately for the shots. I had to ask several times to get any information about what kind of shots they were and what they were supposed to do. After the shots, he told me that he would see me back in 3 weeks and that "I would be well." While the shots did help some, I was still having problems after a few weeks. During my follow-up appointment, he came in for about a minute, predictably told me that I was much better, and suggested that I could do some yoga or stretches. He didn't listen to my concerns. I got the impression that his practice was set up in order to make as much money as possible in as little amount of time as possible (e.g., taking 15 x-rays when I had already had some, then barely looking at them. Later, I tried to get a copy of my x-rays, and they charge $12/sheet for them and refused to make me a copy on a disc.) It is nearly impossible to get someone to help you over the phone, and they are only open until 2:00 M-Th and closed on Friday. Dr. Laughlin seemed to have impressive credentials, but because of my experience there, I would not recommend him to anyone. I will say that Luis, one of the nurses, was extremely nice and tried to improve the patient experience.

I have to say, that my experience was exactly the same as Faith's from May 16, 2011. Exactly! I wasn't given any documentation and ended up having a horrible reaction to the shots. I won't be going back.
