Dr Joseph Park is a gifted surgeon with a wonderful and caring bedside manner. Our college daughter, a dancer, had a horrific break to her ankle. Needless to say she was devastated by the accident and the real prospect of never dancing/performing again. Dr Park was extremely thorough and performed many tests to check the viability of the ankle and gently presented the results and options to our daughter. She was so upset that she was going to need surgery - a plate and 6 pins - to not only fix the ankle but help make it strong enough to hopefully dance again. Dr Park was so empathetic to our daughter's grief. She chose to go ahead with the surgery and the months of PT afterwards. Today, her ankle is now completely healed, stronger than ever, and she will be able to return to the elite Repertory Company at college. Thank you so very much Dr Park for your skill and kindness.

I had been told I was too old for surgery and that a tendon transfer was usually not successful. On my first visit to him he immediately said, "I can fix it." I was overjoyed. He did a wonderful job!! Had a heel osteotomy and tendon transfer after a complete rupture of my posterior tibial tendon. That was about 4 years ago and my foot is wonderful and I walk normally. He is confident, kind and extremely competent.

Dr.Park and his staff always listened and included my concerns and opinion as we determined the best treatment for a complicated fracture. He was honest about the results and prognosis. He went beyond my expectations by checking in after surgery and by encouraging social support and help while I healed. I never expected such well-rouded care paired with unparalleled skill. My outcome was better than I even anticipated! I expected mild life-long pain. However, I dont even think about my foot and am back to hiking and keeping up with my kiddos! I am confident that I got the best outcome possible!
