Sad and very broken woman Period! My referring physicians cringed at having to return to Mary Lee Vance. My husband I traveled to be met with a condescending, arrogant, ranting and swearing woman. To treat any other individual in the manner in which we were treated, simply negligent. Four grueling appointments, she noted concerning details but chose to engage in an Ego competition, I graciously declined. I called her to the rug at our 2nd visit and when we finally had the opening to dicuss actual medical at hand, I was sent to the lab down the hall. I received hugs and clapping from HER staff, thanking me for taking her to task on her harmful interactions with weary patients. Shame on UVA for continuing to choose $income and not " Think first, Do No Harm!" We are now abut 14 yrs later and I'm being referred to other Pituitary Specialist to evaluate the rare episodic tumor that has just about ended my life. Run, she isn't worth it!

Lack of bedside manner I paid out an ridiculous amount for her to tell me she didn't know. Which she put in writing. It's time for her to retire! After searching for a more knowledgeable physician, I was able to obtain my answer.

Back in 2008 I experienced Cushing's Disease. You could not ask for a better team to work with you than these guys!!
