After seeing 3 other surgeons about a seroma in my upper thigh, brought on by a previous surgery done by another surgeon, dr Chong tested the fluid build up and determined it to be body fluid not lymph. The other 3 assumed it to be lymph and not possible to correct. I had arrived at the hospital with a fever of 102.7. I was put on strong antibiotics and had a 7 night hospital stay. Dr Chong cut out a large portion of my leg approximately 2x3x2 and placed me on a wound vacuum to remove the fluid. 2 weeks later I am still on the vacuum 24/7 uncomfortable but necessary. The wound is healing quickly. Without him who knows what would have happened to me. Left untreated could have been a death sentence. I am extremely thankful he came into my life at a most fortuitous time. I credit him with saving my life. Many many thanks to a wonderful caring physician!

Dr. Chong has performed 3 surgeries in the past 2 years at the Aspen Center on me. All 3 experiences have had great results. Dr. Chong and his staff (especially Toni) are always so pleasant to deal with. They all show that they genuinely care. Dr. Chong seems to take such pride in his work that he always tries to minimize my scarring, which I appreciate. He has always shown his concerns during my recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Chong to family and friends!

If you have a hernia, planning a surgery and want to die , because of it... go see dr Chang ! Absolutely incompetent individual, may infect your stiches, proscribe antibiotics without taking a sample of draining culture, waste your health and time by sending you in circles, mumbling something which has nothing to do with your case....2d opinion surgeon was terrified, when he saw my belly button 2 months after Dr. Chang touch, now I am due to a correctional surgery , which is way complicated then a simple hernia removal. Avoid at all cost. Office stuff is good and professional, but that will not take you far.

Dr Chong came highly recommended for my hernia surgery that was done at the Aspen Center in Simi Valley. Both he and his staff as well as the Aspen Center staff made everything flow together naturally and the procedure went very well. I followed the instructions they gave me and while not without the expected pain from any incision, I think it went as well and healed as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend Dr Chong to anyone needing this procedure or anything similar. G. Johnson Simi Valley CA
