Best doctor I have ever seen! She is very down to earth and very knowledgeable. She explains things very clearly and understandable and makes it relatable. She definitely takes her time with you and doesn't try to just rush you out the door like every other doctor I've been to before. I definitely recommend her!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Any doctor who runs a huge lab panel on a brand new patient with zero medical concerns is a huge no for me. I should also mention that, during my first appointment, the doctor read the wrong chart (or misread my chart) before speaking to me and started asking me questions about the state of medical conditions that I did not have. When I told the doctor that I was confused and that I didn't write that I have those conditions, she stated that she thought she had seen them on my chart. This did not inspire confidence but I would have been much more comfortable with this mistake had the doctor actually left to read over my information again instead of staying and hoping that I mentioned all relevant things from my records. I then informed my doctor of a previous medical condition (that I no longer deal with, but wanted her to be aware of) and her reaction was one of confusion and shock! The doctor shouldn't be alarmed by patients' ailments! That was definitely not reassuring! My second appointment consisted of the doctor sitting next to me for about half an hour with my thick packet of lab results, explaining to me all the adverse medical conditions that could befall me due to my family history (which isn't really something that I can change) and any slightly elevated figures. This experience was both overwhelming and terrifying. I should stress that while the doctor did tell me that she would be running a comprehensive panel, I never expected them to consist of tests that are only ever run for patients who already have heart disease or liver disease, for example. To make matters worse, the one test that the doctor should have run (due to that previous medical condition), the doctor never added to the list of tests. So my insurance paid for a huge list of labs that I didn't need, and I was never tested for the one thing that I did actually need checked. But hey, at least I found out that I had some vitamin deficiencies. After reviewing my labs with me, the doctor then suggested a company that produces medication that should correct some of these deficiencies in addition to promoting good mental health...for about $150/bottle. Sure, I could do that, OR I could just buy a gigantic bottle of whatever vitamin deficiency I have over-the-counter from Walgreens for at most $20/bottle. This casual recommendation of brand medication to correct something that over the counter or generic medication can treat reeks of the doctor using this extensive lab panel as a scare tactic to make a profit. I was so overwhelmed by my experience with this doctor that I almost spent money on medication that I didn't need. But hey, I'm not a doctor, so I went to a second doctor with my lab results for a second opinion. This second doctor was baffled by the labs run and said that this was most certainly not common practice and is in fact something that the medical community has been trying to avoid. He looked through the results and informed me that there was nothing alarming on there that he would advise me to correct, other than to maybe buy a bottle of vitamins at a local pharmacy. I left one doctor feeling terrified and as if I were on the verge of death, and left this second doctor feeling like I should maybe just buy some vitamins. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for a normal, annual check-up, or at least get a second opinion before acting on advice from this doctor.
