Dr. Fewel operated on my mom after she was ambulanced to the hospital with excruciating hip pain that had been eluding diagnosis for months and had suddenly gotten worse. He recessed a herniated disc in her badly degenerated lower spine that had been pressing on a nerve. This is a scary, risky surgery with not always great results in the best of hands, and he hit it out of the park. The hip pain that had been plaguing her was gone, and he was patient in taking time to answer questions. In our experience, we couldn't have asked for a better surgeon and are deeply grateful to have Dr. Fewel's caliber of skill in the Tri-Cities. We recommend him highly.
