This office is a nightmare. My elderly mother needs bilateral total knee replacements. She met with Brunck in March who literally told her "if you don't get these surgeries in the next year, you will be crippled." What kind of Provider even says that to a patient? She had to have bladder surgery as well and was recommended to get that done first and he told her they would be able to then schedule for the first knee replacement surgery the beginning of October. He assured her that scheduling would not be a problem... First of all, you can't promise these things in the medical field and he should know that. She then had the pre-op appt with him 8/8 where he stated that she needed medical clearance from her PCP prior to even scheduling the procedure, which they didn't tell her previously so now she's waiting to get in with her PCP for that and they stated they are now scheduling out for the beginning of next year... I asked for a supervisor to call me back and someone did but she was extremely rude. I tried explaining to her that they need to let people know ahead of time that they need these things prior to even scheduling and how their lack of information is now pushing her surgery back months. The supervisor said 'what do you mean sooner? She was seen in March and then we saw her in August and told her then to get the medical clearance and then she can schedule." I said, yes I'm aware, but if she would have known sooner that she needed that prior to even scheduling the procedure, she would have had it done for the appointment with him on 8/8 and the surgery would be scheduled by now. She did not seem to understand at all and rudely said "In March? She couldn't get it that early. We saw her 8/8 for the pre-op appointment where we told her to get the medical clearance before scheduling." At this point, I was too upset to keep explaining this very simple concept to this rude woman and hung up. I called NW Ortho and they were extremely kind and helpful. We will never be coming here again.
I am a new patient of theirs...so far they have been extremely helpful in the treatment plan for my knee..... they have been able to get 2 injections for my knee approved by my insurance... which provided a huge relief from the pain. They are also working with me and my insurance so I can get a knee replacement in just 2-3 months from now. I appreciate what they have done for me. Very friendly staff My Dr really takes time to listen to me
Awesome experience from beginning of my knee injury to post-op. The schedulers went out of their way to get me in to see Dr. Drumm the same day that I was in the ER. Reception is pleasant and helpful. The MA’s know their job and made me feel at ease. Dr Drumm is wonderful. He took his time to explain what was going on with my injury and explained my options. I am 2 months post-op and my knee is 100% better. Thank you to the Providence Orthopedics Team!! Deb
Dr. Lang has been my surgeon for almost a decade. I absolutely trust him with all my Orthopedic needs. I'm pain free in my knees after he replaced them. He listens and will look deep to find the heart of your Painful joints. My left shoulder MRI didn't really show anything but he found things when he did the arthroscopic surgery. If he doesn't specialize in a particular joint he will make sure you are sent to the doctor that does. My hip is the proof of this being done. Sincerely Rob
I am awaiting resolution on my Mother's treatment and will update this review when I have more info. I am heartened to have heard from a medical professional WHILE WRITING THIS REVIEW who supplied me with a lot of information that should bring about appropriate treatment that will relieve a lot of Mother's discomfort. Thank you, Doug. I hope to make this a 5 star review soon.
We worked with PA Joe Gaines after a clavicle break and he was excellent! Great advice and exercises to promote healing.
Had my left knee replaced here and Dr. Drumm and his staff are wonderful!!!! He’s even worked with my mother!!!!
Horrible! Puts schedule before your care and needs, does not follow up on worsening symptoms!
Great doctors and friendly, caring staff.
