I will not go into extreme detail, as I do not feel it is necessary. But when a Pediatrician is willing to prescribe a psychiatric medication to a 2 1/2 year old, after you have made it clear that you do not want the 2 1/2 year old on any psychiatric medications, and then they proceed to lie to your face about the effects and purposing of the obvious psychiatric medication, one begins to question whether Dr Dick's loyalties lie in treating and helping his patients, or padding his wallet with the funds of "Big Pharma". What he did to my daughter was unethical, not only because he went against my wishes, not only because he blatantly lied, not only because this is a developing brain and the medication prescribed hasn't been approved for any use on children as young as my daughter, but because she can't even express how it made her feel. I urge you to be proactive in your children's health care, and even if you choose to go the route of Dr. Michael Dick, do not allow yourself to be railroaded into something you are morally opposed to, not even for one day. You are the only one who can protect your child from people like this.

Best Dr I've had in 47 years!

I've encountered Dr. Dick on both sides of the fence. I worked as a hospital laboratory tech and drew blood on his patients, and years later I brought my own twin daughters to him. The man is phenomenal. He cares about what is best for the patient. He always kept me in the know as a parent. Mike Dick doesn't tread lightly when it comes to diagnosis. He's aggressive where he needs to be. He know about all the strange and odd ailments that can befall a child. If I still lived in the Fort Wayne area, I would still be bringing my children to see Dr. Dick. Kimberly Gebauer

The best pediatric doctor for my kids. I am still mourning the loss when we had to move back to Oregon. Thank you for all they do.

I know many really like him, but we feel he gave up on our son when he could not figure out what was wrong. He actually called CPS on us. They dismissed the charges and suggested we find another doctor. The new doc told us what was wrong in the first 5 minutes of our office visit. I've heard other horror stories as well, though I think it really depends on the kid and underlying illness, he may be the best for you. Not for us.
