I came to see Dr. Burakovskiy for a very painful ingrown nail that I had been dealing with for a couple of weeks. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day I called and upon arrival was roomed by a friendly medical assistant. Dr. B did the ingrown nail removal procedure very quickly and efficiently, explaining in detail every step of the procedure. The experience was comfortable and I was happy with it. Definitely recommending this clinic to my family and friends!

Not exactly impressive. I've got chronic Achilles tendinitis, so I was seeing him to see what could be done. (A) he offered to inject some sort of stem cells into my tendon to accelerate healing. Sounds nice, except there was no suggestion of extracting stem cells from me. Stem cells from any other source are a complete waste of time, as my immune system would wipe them out, and stem cells from me aren't even proven clinically to help. Basically this treatment is just a way to make money from gullible patients. I declined, and I can't honestly say why I still proceeded to (B) order orthotics from the guy. Here it's less a matter of crackpot pseudoscience and more of simple legitimate business practice. They charged me $500 for my orthotics on March 14 and May 1 (two installments), but didn't even try to bill my insurance provider, which was in network. So I called up my insurance provider, and they established that I was owed $316.88 refund, between negotiated discount and insurance coverage. Simple enough, but insurance paid them June 17, according to the EOB. Here it is, August 1, and I still haven't been credited back $316.88. So I call them up to ask what's up, and "the check was mailed Friday." Yeah, riiight. I would not recommend this practice, period.
