“ If anyone is struggling with chronic pain there is no better place to go to help to get through the day to day activities. Sarah has a heart to see that her patients are getting the best care possible. I wish that I didn't have the pain I have. I would not wish my life to be in any other person. If not for the staff at Washington Center for Pain Management I would never even be able to get out of bed. I wish that one day my pain would be totally gone until that day happens I will continue to work through the pain with Sarah Goble and Dr. Nelson and the rest of the team. If not for them I would spend all of my days in bed crying from the pain. With their help I am able to get up each day, I am able to do some of the things I love, I know that I can't do everything I want because of my complicated medical issues. If I didn't see Sarah every 4 weeks I would probably crawl in bed and never get out. Her care and compassion is huge. Her heart to care for her patients is far above what I ever expected in my interactions as her patient. Thank you for always thinking of new ways to help me to make it through each day. ”

Trying to get, cancel, or change an appt. with these people is a nightmare. They don't answer their phones, and they don't call you back. Question about a drug side effect? Forget it, you may as well go to the ER, because this clinic will not call you back. Question for your provider between visits? Not going to happen. I think WCPM is dangerous for patients; the impression I got was that they are completely unwilling to talk or thoroughly discuss treatment with patients, and once you walk out the door of the clinic, you are completely on your own. The way they are operating cannot be ethical. Who's checking up on these guys? JCAHO should definitely be looking at this operation.

Anyone who has suffered unrelenting back pain for over 25 years from the trama's of many accidents and the resulting injurys as well as the hours of painful rehab and stayed a virtual prisioner of pain and any quality of life, needs to see a good pain clinic before giving up. You can once again begin reliving a life with a clear head and the hope that each morning when you awake the new day has some fun and loving times left for you to enjoy with loved ones. Don't give up please without first trying these specially trained Doctors. Thank You.

I absolutely LOVE this doctors. Dr. Paterno is AMAZING at what he does I was with another pain dr until I got fed up and moved to this clinic. Everyone I come in contact with at the various clinics has the best customer service/bedside manner and GREAT attitudes. I didn't just want to be on pain medication I needed a better quality of life and he gave me just that! I have a nerve disorder that causes unbearable pain. Dr. Paterno advised the Spinal Cord Stimulator was the best and really last option for me. I am glad to say my life is so much better now I can actually live! Yes I'm still in pain the stimulator isn't a cure all but I was at a 9/10 on the pain chart everyday even with pain medication by the end of the day I would be in tears and nauseous from the pain now my pain average is about 3/4 that's pretty amazing : ) I AM SO THANKFUL for him and his staff they are true life savers!!! A lot of pain doctors out there don't give you the time or day or they don't really want to put the work into helping you have a better quality of life Dr. Paterno does he is very thoughtful and understanding he listens very well and answers any and all questions you have. If you are thinking about going to this clinic or if your looking around I would defiantly recommend Wa Center for Pain Mgmt they do a great job actually they do such a good job there not in my preferred network with ins and I prefer to pay a higher bill then to switch to somebody in network. I hope this review helps you and answers any questions you may of had, I hope you are able to be pain free or at least be in less pain soon : ) Kelli
