The woman at the front desk was very rude to my wife. We walked out and found another doctor. I actually wouldn't give this office any stars due to the experience. But if the doctor will get rid of the front receptionist than I'm sure he would've been the right doctor for my wife.

I, too, would say he was friendly. No nonsense kinda guy. One usually doesn't have to wait, which says to me he respects your time. Awesome. Lost, in most doctors. However, today, I learned just what he is all about. I'm a 'private pay' patient, that is - no insurance. I always pay cash, same day as the visit. I have a few routine prescriptions, for blood pressure. I called his office today to see what types of insurance he accepts, as I am in the position to ACTUALLY have insurance. My insurance becomes effective in 16 days. I asked him if he could prescribe me enough blood pressure medication until then, and I would come in once my insurance took effect. He told me no. In addition to NO, you must come in (which is $75), he also passed along thru his receptionist, that he would also require blood work (which is another $75). I don't understand....Why wouldn't he help one of his patients out? For 2 weeks...on a necessary daily prescription? He doesn't care about ME and my health. He cares about getting his $150. I've been his patient for 3 years. ALWAYS paid cash, same day as service. I'm going without my medication so that I can pay my first months insurance premium. Then after January 1st, I'll find a new doctor and get the medications that I need. Tis the season....right? No thank you. DOC, you had me faithfully until today. What happened to 'Do No Harm'?
