My son sees Dr. Kurella for Celiac Disease. The doctor is fantastic, but the staff is less than stellar. We had one of our appointments, which could only be done at a specific time and required extended fasting, put off because the PA felt uncomfortable doing the test. Which we found out after we got there. I was assured this wouldn't happen again. My son in law took him to the second appointment and had to help the PA get my son into the recording harness for the proceedure. They never called with the test results and left information with the emergency contact. I called and left messages to ask why no one had tried to contact me, but my calls weren't returned. I called 10 minutes before closing yesterday with a problem. I was transferred to the nurse line (she wasn't available, surprise, surprise) and got a recording. I called right back and got the after hours answering service...

I have been on a roller coaster ride, from you know where, trying to get my current PCP to send a, much needed, referral to a GI specialist. I called Dr kurella's office and spoke to Brittany who went above and beyond to help me every possible way she could. To my friends and family my description for Brittany has been an angel on earth. Although my first appointment is not for another few days, I look forward to meeting Brittany, Dr. Kurella, and the rest of the physician's and staff. Brittany, I hope you see this. I am so thankful for all of your help. I know you didn't have to do everything you've done for me and I will forever be grateful for the extra effort you put in for, me, someone you've never met.
