I've been seeing Dr. Latoni my whole life. Moved away for college, and still drove 2 hours back to see him when I needed it. I've never had a bad experience. Dr. Latoni has even squeezed me in past normal hours for him because the scheduling was hard with the traveling. My in-laws now see him too after bad experiences elsewhere. Dr. Moon is also fantastic. I see him occasionally as well.

This review is not a reflection on Dr. Latoni, but of some staff members that work in his office. The bottom line - money & time ultimately wasted on my part for not asking to speak directly to office manager during first exp. with their staff. An employee didn't know the right measurements to handle a situation so instead of reaching out their supervisor, the employee told me they were unable to do anything about it. This caused me to spend unnecessary time communicating with all parties involved to resolve the issue myself - the office, my pharmacy, my insurance company. I had to contact the office manager and she ADMITTED this is a training issue on the employee's part -- that's great that you can identify where the ball was dropped but the management team here needs to restructure and re-evaluate their hiring decisions-- Do you understand you are NOT working in a retail store or a restaurant? You are dealing with the well beings and health of individuals and families. If your employees do not have the emotional intelligence/soft skills to perform the job correctly - DON'T HIRE THEM. I inquired about a reimbursement for $20.00 on 2nd visit within a week of initial visit regarding this issue and I was told, "That is our policy and unfortunately we can't refund any amount" WOW-- so the patient really feels no value here. You are not thinking holistically- my family and I have being seeing Dr. Latoni for 10+ years and you can't empathize to the cost of $20? Ridiculous.

If you want a Doctor that truely cares about you as an individual, than look no further. Dr Latoni, MD is the best. He will take the time to listen to you and not rush you in and out. Simple one of the best doctors available. Highly recommended.

I made an appointment because I had suddenly gone deaf in one ear & had horrible vertigo and my insurance required referrals for specialists. I was horribly sick and nauseated but I made it there because I was sure I needed treatment. Dr. Latoni told me that it was a common viral ear infection, nothing you can really do other than treat the symptoms, and that I'd be better in 7-10 days. Several months later my insurance changed and I was able to schedule an appointment with a specialist without a referral, which I did immediately because I was still almost completely deaf. The audiologist & ear/nose/throat doctors I met with told me that they were very sorry but the 80% hearing I'd sustained was permanent ... but that it COULD HAVE BEEN TREATED if I'd seen them within 2 weeks of the ear infection's onset! GRRRRR. So now I am essentially deaf in one ear for the rest of my life. Thanks a lot doc. Apparently ear infections that present with complete hearing loss very rarely resolve themselves on their own, so it's not like my results were unusual. Bottom line: I don't expect a primary care doctor to be an expert in everything, but he should know when to refer someone to a specialist!!

Horrible experience for a new patient! After scheduling for Dr. Latoni and them calling me to confirm everything and fasting for 12 hours for blood work, I got there 15 min early and ended up waiting another 1hr 10min and watched 3 people go in front of me after arriving at early for my 11am appt. I believe they just forgot and you can imagine how hungary i was at noon after not eating until the night before for blood work and a simple check up. UN FREAKIN PROFESSIONAL...funny thing is in their paperwork they have the right to charge you a fee if you cancel within 24hrs but what about when they forget about you and don't meet their appt. STAY AWAY AND FIND A BETTER physician that actually cares about their patients!
