I would not trust anyone more than Dr. Yarmark. When I told him I was not feeling well he figured out, in his office I had a heart attack in the prior days, not back and shoulder pain, and the flu. Within a few day he was helping me recover from quadruple bypass surgery. Since I was in my early 40's at the time, most docs would have dismissed my concerns as something else, but Dr Yarmark took the time to LISTEN TO ME, and run tests, which showed the heart attack. That is hard to find these days. One of the arteries that was 95 % blocked was the "widow maker" and I had only weeks or so left, if that, until that massive coronary, according to the surgeon. I have been with him for 15 years. His new office on Germantown Ave is new and beautiful. I am telling you, I deal with alot of docs, managing a few health probs, and Dr Yarmark gets an A+ in my book, you should give him a try.

Unprofessional, tells off color & dirty jokes to staff within earshot of patients and patient rooms. Some of the exam room doors do not close all of the way which is very uncomfortable if your being examined and expect privacy. The average wait time is over an hour in the waiting room and more in the exam room. I have at times spent almost 3 hours waiting to be seen. His female P.A. has a poor bedside manner, she speaks to you like you are a child. If you call on off hours and need medication or need a call back on a medical issue during the weekend , forget it, they almost never do when they say they will. Overall bad experiences. I am looking for a new doctor.

i was sick (needed antibiotics) so I called to make a appt. none available can the dr call in a script for me. she says sure he will call this afternoon. I call around 4 because I didn't hear from him. she says oh he looked at your chart and you have to come in we haven't seen you in a while - when were you going to tell me!! if I didn't call I guess I wouldn't have heard from him. she says come in right now, so I dropped everything and rushed over. i have a unbelievable wait time over a hr before I was seen and more waiting in the back office. one person ahead of me and she was in the waiting room for the same amount of time. I am changing drs

I saw Dr. Yarmark for a # of years. When we were trying to get pregnant and asked for professional advice he told my husband to go at 'er (me) which I felt was not professional. When we thought we were pregnant he mocked me when the test came back negative and then gave me antibiotics that said on them "do not use if pregnant or expecting to become pregnant". It turns out that I WAS pregnant while on them- thankfully my child seems to be fine. Sadly, there were even other examples of unprofessional behavior on the part of him and his staff, but this was the most egregious.
