Called their office to set up as new patient, was mailed paperwork, my previous pain doctor is retiring and recommended Dr Vilensky.  Got a call today saying they do not take Blue Cross/ Blue Shield Excellus any more and they cancelled my appointment  Funny thing they never asked me if I still wanted to come or pay out of my pocket. Immediately I called Blue Cross and stated what I was told, they told me they are still listed as a provider. Story gets better, Blue Cross called them and they were told to talk to the office manager and they did not know when they would be back. Got the feeling this office did not want me as a patient for some reason from the other doctor, Blue Cross to call them again to clarify this. Beware, maybe its a blessing this happened, can you really trust them?

Great doctor fast and courteous,yet sees thru any "storys" you may give him,you get one time with this doctor, so do not mess up.
