Originally I called as a new patient, scheduled me for an apt, that day I called 15 mins before (as I had a hard time finding the place) and then the staff said I don’t have you scheduled! I’m thinkib What? I know I talked to a staff member there and had an apt, they just said; Nope! But I can schedule you for next week. So moving forward... I was sent here to get help, but instead was treated very poorly by not only the staff but the dr as well! Waited 15/20 mins in waiting room... Explained why I was there, (and who recommended me) for my digenerative disc disease, and extremely painful back issues from a poor surgery I had 10 years ago & you know, by the end of this so called “office visit”, she said; if you’re here for drugs, I can’t just prescribe them to you on your first visit, (I didn’t even bring up medications yet) then said she would call my dr and have a talk with him, which my new dr explained; he wants to ween me off my meds! Yet he tells me he’s trying to get me to a pain specialist who can help me get some relief and can prescribe me meds to help. By the end of my first visit, she just walked out of the room without saying goodbye, and made me feel horribly embarrassed and quite frankly, yet again I am being treated as if I’m some kind of drug addict. Which is not the case! I’m so sick and tired of these doctors who are trying to play God! This is not how doctors should treat patients, and in this part of NY, good luck finding a good doctor! With this whole opioid epidemic, every patient is being treated like this! Even elderly who have issues similar to mine. This is not nerve pain, as I have told my doctor a hundred times, but all she said was I should be on more lyrica! Lyrica isn’t helping! And she called my dr, to say I should be weened off the only things that help with my pain. Nonetheless, I just called to cancel my appointments, and wanted to explain why, but the person who answered the phone cut me off while I was talking and said your apts are cancelled, and hung up. Unbelievable!

Doctor Gargano and her assistant are always trying to find ways to help manage my pain. I appreciate that they listen, are compassionate- as well as professional.

Thank you for straightening up the people in your office. They all have now a very welcoming tone. At first I was put off by your husband calling me but I tried to talk to you & Bridgett said you don't talk to people on the phone & that your husband manages your office. He may have said that to me, but I was taken off guard by someone knowing who I was on a review. I got word today that the doctor I was planning on seeing won't see me. So now I'm stuck. But thank you for being there for the next 26 days & I wish you well. Please forgive me for not being respectful to you or your office. Your husband did the right thing my contacting me to see why at 1st I gave you such a poor rating. He did the right thing because when someone has ought against you, that you go to that person to see why. I felt I was disrespected & I fought back which isn't the Christian to do. Well anyway have a wonderful life & I hope & pray that your business prospers. Take Care & God Bless!

I am so Happy to have found Dr. Gargano my pain is finally under control and I’m feeling so much better. The staff have been very helpful... even came out to my car to get me with a wheel chair when I was in too much pain to walk into the office!

Injury happened in 2008 told me I needed Surgery and I would be out of work for 8mo’s to a year. I simply said I can’t afford to be out of work that long so they starter feeding me pain pills to keep me working.. That worked for a couple of years the I went to my Surgen told him I can’t take it anymore so we scheduled thr first surgery for Dec 15 2010. Let me start with 2010 I had 3 dis removed from the front they lay you on your back cut you from the bottom of your rib cage down to you pelvic bone pull everything out that’s right everythings laying there next to you on the table you guts intestines you’re stomach pull out you dis then install cadaver shine bone that have been shaved down to fit in there place. Then the same day they flip you over on your stomach cut your back open only about a 9” insert rods screws and fuse 4 levels together so needless to say that part of your spine dose not bend any longer. Yes a good foot of your spine dose not bend front back side to side nothing. Still having lots of pain.. Then about one year later they went back in removed all the hardware telling me this should do thr trick NOT!! Then they found out not all the bone fusen took so after wearing a bone belt stimulator for a year. There next bright idea💡now is we really think this will fix it Mr Porter. Ok if you think this will fix it. So back in they go this time using my own bone scraping bone off my hip to do the Fusen well let me say that did not work either.so time Started with all kinds of steroid shots in my lower mid hips they would work for a few days then nothing back to square one. Then the fix of all fixes the internal spinal stimulator first a trail version very Pleasant a week with that then they have to schedule me for surgery to have the permanent one installed so I have to get an MRI but come to find out I can’t get one because one of the surgeons left the wire to the bone stimulator in me he only took out the battery pack. Finally found a tech that would do it. Had the permanent one installed May 12 2017. So you can see how they drag this stuff out. So here we are 8 yrs later 6 Surgerys and still in very much pain. I just want to say never go under the knife it’s just another yacht payment another year at some fancy school for the kid. A big vacation where every it is doctors take there family’s. One last thing if they ever ask you hom many pills you have left just say I don’t know. I made the bad decision to guess and I guessed wrong and was accused of eating my pain pills like candy and I should see someone else and I would in a heartbeat but that’s a over a 100 mile round trip. Pain Doctors NO HEART NO COMPASION NO UNDERSTANDING DEFINITEILY DONT LISTEN TO THERE PATIENTS So if anyone say to you we can fix this RUN AND RUN FAR BECAUSE ONCE THEY SCREW YOU YOUAND YOUR IN PAIN EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY THEY DON’t WANT ANYTHING ORE TO DO WITH YOU .THERE opinion is the only reason you want pain medication is because you’re a drug attic but I know you won’t believe me so go ahead do it and then you’ll be riding one of these reviews just like me I put all my trust into my doctors and surgeons and in the end when it didn’t work they called me a drug addict that I’m not telling the truth all I want is the drugs
