Food good, fabulous portions with a smaller portion section, that is nice as it isn't cottage cheese and fruit. Server was new I think so a tad slower than the norm but not an issue for me since I know EVERYONE is new at something now and then. Will definitely go again. Very good coffee. Price as expected. Lots of smiling faces at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning.

Good food, good service, good menu. Food offerings are somewhat similar to IHOP but food quality here is a decent step higher and for about the same price. There is also a bit more atmosphere to make it feel more homey and welcoming. Our server was very patient and knowledgeable of the food options. Overall a good experience and now our go-to place for the occasional eating out for breakfast. There was lots of junk on the floor under the booth where we were seated so 4 stars for this visit.

I don't know how someone asked to add sausage to the country gravy; it's full of sausage. Biscuits and gravy is out of this world! The biscuits were the size of softballs! That picture is two biscuits..... what looks like two more are the tops! So good!
All their breakfasts are delicious, service has always been good.

I'm definitely a diner guy. I grew up eating it diners all the time with my parents. My grandpa went to a diner every day. We need more diners for sure. But if you want a good quality one You definitely go to the Black Bear Diner. The portions are substantial. Unbelievably good quality for the price and the wait staff is always johnny-on-the-spot.

Very good.  Enormous portions.  Open and more modern atmosphere.  Not as chaotic as IHOP, and definitely better quality.  Looks like a ski/hunting lodge inside.  My omelet could have slunk the Lusitania by itself, and it came with 2 sides.  I can eat a lot, so trust me when I say the portions are big.
