Tradition in the Making

In 1999 two lifetime friends launched the dream and vision of a dinner-house that would revisit the day of owner-operated restaurants. Conceptually the foundations would be – food made fresh from scratch daily, variety and value in a menu centered around the unique style of closed-pit cooking, a team-oriented style of service based on genuineness and sincerely caring, and an environment conducive to family and friends, good conversations and the enjoyment of life.

Thus the vision of Goodwood Barbecue Company was born. As you enjoy your experience know that the owner-oriented individuals are involved daily. Visited Goodwood on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Matt was ridiculously busy, but handled it well and we were very happy with his service.
The restaurant was SO clean. No crumbs in the corners under the tables, all the condiment bottles were sparkling. It was impressive.
And the food was delicious. My husband loved his ribs. My son thoroughly enjoyed his chicken strips. And my sirloin melted in my mouth. The garden salad left quite a bit to be desired, but that's possibly the fault of the flavorful spinach dip with started with. 
We will definitely go back.

We really enjoy this place. We had to wait 1.5 hours to get a table for our party of 8, but the wait was well worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bathrooms are clean and in good condition.  Finally, the food is amazing. It comes in huge portions that could easily be split, so consider that when ordering and save yourself a little money. It's definitely not a cheap place to eat.

This place is great! We had a big party of 20 and they accommodated us very well, giving us 2 very nice attentive staff members to aid us. The food is superb! I got the burnt ends sandwich and it was fall-off-the-bone tender. I wish I could regurgitate it and eat it again... well maybe not that but you guys get the point.

This is a solid chain BBQ Restaurant. It won't win any awards, but it is always reliable and satisfying. The rib/burnt end combo I got was on point and the sauce was smoky. Sides were good and flavors were definitely distinct from other BBQ chains. Our server was attentive. The location is fine, and egress is not an issue. The parking lot is over-engineered though.

We have been to Goodwood a few times and and it is a great neighborhood restaurant.  The food has never wowed me but is good hearty food with big portion sizes. The servers are always friendly and attentive. Its a good go to restaurant but not so much for the romantic night out.
