Long wait but well worth it. Staff was very friendly and the food was reasonably priced. I got a vegan burrito which I asked for avocado slices on top and they only charged 8.95 for the thing. Which is crazy considering the location. Heavenly village where everything is considerably more expensive. (They know it's a tourist location and tourists got money) I love how they have vegan options because not everybody is a meat eater. As a matter of fact most restaurants around here are vegan accommodating. The whole experience took around an hour and 45 minutes from the time we initially told them we had a party of six. It was Sunday morning though so it's totally understandable. We will definitely be back next time we are in town :)

Driftwood has been our "go to" breakfast in South Lake Tahoe. Never been disappointed by anything I've eaten there. I had the Carolina Connection, potato pancakes with ham, over medium eggs and sausage gravy. Excellent! Service was attentive and friendly. There is always a wait, but it's worth it.

Great food and friendly Staff. Came here in October, so off season. Had the eggs benedict, sauce had a cheese flavor to it and I loved it. My lady had the breakfast sandwich and said it was good but a bit plain. Also she got potatoes with it and there wasn't much on the plate. Would definitely repeat and tell people to go.

It was a Easter Sunday and we really wanted breakfast in the morning. This place does not take reservations. It's on a first come basis. Overall, we didn't have to wait longer than 20 minutes which was awesome. And their service is pretty fast too. And I loved their breakfast as well. This place was crowded on Easter Sunday. Definitely, we'll go here again....

Stayed nearby for a conference October 2017 and had to visit this place again, remembering how delicious their food was from a visit 3 years prior! The second day I dropped in for lunch I was greeted like an old friend, by the owner and staff-so nice! And the food is to die for!
