The environment was cool, laid back cafe style. Sushi was sub par but priced well. Service was bad. It seemed like the servers were more concerned about conversation with each other and friends that came in than any other tables around. My ladies water wasn't refilled, as well as my beer. We were basically served and left alone.

Our first impression was that it had a great atmosphere, but the pushy waitress quickly turned us off. We ordered a beer and she spent some time telling us how we should have the sake flight (for $25). She was pushy and trying to upsell before and during the entire meal by repeatedly offering to out something specific in for us. When we asked for the check, she offered dessert. No thanks wasn't enough - she offered for us to order dessert "to go"!!!!  No green tea ice cream "to go" for me please!

Great sushi. Creative, quick service, higher prices, but great quality. 
Whatever the BBQ fish on the starters is amazing. get it get it get it!
I wasn't a fan of the smoked salmon thing, but my wife loved it.
Rest of sushi was awesome. 

Both my wife & I got a stomach bug the next day, might not have been from this but maybe. Just want to throw that out there, might have been the spicy roles we got too....who knows. I would still go back.

The food and service were both exceptional. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We were served by Brooks and he really took great care of us. I highly recommend and will make it our business to visit whenever we are in town.

How can this place get a four star? The service is really bad, food are just ok. Our food didn’t come at the same time, literally almost an hour apart, i had to tell the waitress to have it to go, will never come back here again.
