Many reviewers have already commented on the service - they were right, it's excellent. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is casual with a classy feeling. The staff really does a good job of making you feel welcome. It's also extremely affordable considering similar quality restaurants elsewhere in California.

This place is amazing! Julie B. gave us the best service we've seen in Tahoe. The food was delicious and portions and prices phenomenal! I highly recommend Isabella to anyone.

A warm welcome makes a big difference. Follow that with great service, a good selection of drinks and great food, and you have a delightful, delicious dinner! Loved Izabella as it delivered on everything. We had vegetarian food - garlic bread, minestrone soup, the eggplant goat cheese stack and the vegetarian pasta. Service was phenomenal. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner which didn't break the bank!

Not a good experience. Hostess was unfriendly. We waited for service 10 minutes after we were seated, the restaurant was not busy. A couple was seated behind us and immediately received service. Their server asked us if we had been helped and we told him no. He told us someone would be right with us. We waited a few more minutes and left. This place serves only wine and beer, which we found very unusual for an Italian restaurant. The menu was very plain. In fact, my wife and I were in agreement that it seemed very generic. With no full bar and such a generic menu, this place really should be a lot less snobbish. It isn't at all a special place. We're glad we left before we tried the food.

We had an amazing time at Izabella’s. Jennifer our waitress was very helpful and kind. The atmosphere was relaxing, modern, yet maintaining the very cozy Italian feeling. Love the classic music they have playing. We had two of the chef specials and were not disappointed! The tiramisu was to die for. This is hands down the best Italian place in Tahoe.
