I found Jimmy's by searching Google for a place on the lake for lunch. This place is very nice, with a beautiful partial view of Lake Tahoe. They offer both indoor and patio seating, which feature beautiful fire pits, again with a lovely view of the lake. We opted for the indoor seating, as the breeze was a little chilly and I didn't want to be cold, but it looked like a splendid place to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the views, while watching the goings on. Since the beach is right across the street, there are plenty of people to watch, which can be interesting. While we dined, a van full of young men pulled up, parked and jumped out sans shirts to go take a dip in the lake. Was definitely not your everyday ordinary people watching... They have a great bar with great selections of wine and bourbon, my and my husband's preferred spirits, respectively. The service was great, friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. My husband ordered the lamb gyro and I had the chicken gyro, which came with a choice of fries. We both opted for the sweet potato fries, which were so good that my husband said they were possibly the best he'd ever had. We are celebrating our anniversary in Lake Tahoe next month and just may end up here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary.

Our waiter, Matt, was great at patiently walking us through the menu and offer terrific recommendations. He was quite knowledgeable of the food as well as the drink pairing. A hybrid of Italian and Greek cuisine. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, salmon, risotto, gnocchi, Manila clams. Wonderful breakfast offerings as well. Fantastic view of the lake! We'll dine here again the next time we're in town.

The lamb is juicy but a little dry on the surface. The duck Brest is great and my girl friend said that is the best that she tasted. The cheese cake covered with vanilla is perfect. We will come back in the future. The octopus is soft and the potato is fresh. The service is good but lots of guests tonight. My waitress was too busy. Anyway, please come if you have chance to stay in south. Lake Tahoe.

I've been there before, but they knocked it out of the park this time! We had the grilled octopus appetizer which was fantastic. The wedge salad covered in bacon. It's some pita butter bread with herbs and olive oil. Tempura shrimp with polenta was good but not the best thing we had. The rack of lamb was superb! Service great, atmosphere awesome. Loved it!

We had a lovely family dinner. Our waiter, Matt was incredible. His knowledge and expertise made for a delicious dinner. Our favorite was the duck, but we also enjoyed the small plates, lamb and halibut. They a have great wine selection too and Matt helped us find a bottle that was to our liking. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The avocado smash was so good!
