My go-to Duane Reade due to its proximity to my office. In terms of commonly-purchased items, they have a great card selection, snack foods and pretty quick pharmacy. The prices, however, are just atrocious and you'll never find something you need on sale. There is an elevator so it is accessible on both floors but the escalators are always off, which is a pain.

As I live very close to the Duane Reade, 131 8th Ave, my review of the store is seven stars. The staff are very sweet and provide high end service. Trisha the manager is very caring and always available to help.

It has two floors. Most of the time the escalators are out of service which I dislike. But overall I like spending time there. Especially on the make-up section.

This Duane Reade is pretty large with its two floors. They sell frozen goods from small ice-cream to frozen pizza and even cold drinks that larger than two liters. There are many cashiers so the line moves!!!
