This is a nice park. We take our kids here to play on the playground all the time and they have a lot of fun. Our oldest also took swimming lessons here and he really enjoyed them. He can't wait for Summer for his next classes. The wife and I enjoy coming here to hide and search for painted rocks. We almost always find at least one or two. I just wish it started open all day and night like Big Spring.

Playground was awesome and there was so much to see and do for a 2 year old. Our 8 month old also got to swing and explore with us. Can't wait until he can walk and run around

The only thing I'd mark down would be the lack of parking. This place is so popular it can be difficult to find good parking, otherwise everything else is superb. The kid's kingdom is a huge castle/fort with everything your child could hope for to climb, swing, run, hop, skip or jump on. There's plenty of seating in and around the playground area. The community center offers registration and information for all of the area's sports. There are soccer fields, basketball courts an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts and more. There are rooms available for birthday parties or chess club. They host holiday festivities for the kids. I can't say enough good things about this place. My kids love it.

Me and my family visited Huntsville for a day from Northern AL. Ive been to alot of parks in my day. This park is the most diverse, kid-friendly/family-friendly experience ive ever had. Parents and children of all nationaliies and social-economical backgrounds were playing together. It felt like I was living the Martin Luther King "I have a dream" speech. I think because the play area is so close to the parent's seating area, you have no choice but to connect with people from all walks of life. Needless to say, my kids had a blast. This park is simply gorgeous. Parks like this help to diminish the negative racial stigma attached to the state of Alabama. This is definitely a Huntsville must-see park if you are visiting with children.

This is a great park to walk in! I’ve only been on weekdays during the late morning/early afternoon, and I usually have it to myself other than the Kid’s Kingdom play area. There are plenty of benches, shade trees, and uphill/downhill areas for nice views! The walking path and sports fields are immaculate. No complaints at all!
