Beautiful campground, best of both worlds. Mountains and lake. Breath taking views! Relax and enjoy the wildlife such as the numerous deer roaming the park, ducks, geese, and amazing bald eagle!! We stayed here in January when there were only a few other campers. It was quiet and peaceful. Park is well kept, clean. Most sites are gravel and not as big as we would like, however there are a few concrete pads. Park was hit by a tornado a few years ago so the trees are young, no shade yet. There's a country store at entrance to campground and restaurants, WalMart, shopping about 20 mins away. Park hosts are very friendly and helpful. I'm sure the park is a lot busier and fuller during the warmer weather, but we will definitely be back (off season). We stayed on site G24 in fifth wheel.

Very beautiful views from all places. Very therapeutic. Deer and other wildlife roam the grounds every day. All different kind of trails, from biking trails, to easy and hard hiking trails. Lizard Lick is a personal favorite. They often have tour guides in the mornings. They have two stages of ziplinines. Which the second stage offers A beautiful unforgettable view! A large variety of drinks from the bar. Great food. They have buffets and menues. There is a nature nook which is very fun for educational reasons and for kids. They have wildlife! Most of the times if you would like to explore it, the front desk can help you. The desk can also provide you with hiking trails and up coming events.

The ride up here is Beautiful! When we got to Guntersville,AL. It's just breathtaking,and colorful. Glorious Beauty!!! Highly pleasing to your eyes! Very serene! Taking pictures seening wild life Awesome! We decided to stay an extra week here! Only 1 thing displeasing. In laundry room close to our sight #9. They have 3 dryers, but only 1 dryer really works. So your laundry takes a little bit longer.(lost money) But having a Great Time!!!!

The camping here is the best in the area. It's on the east side of the lake so there is an amazing sunset nearly every night over the water. The campground had lots of amenities including canoe rentals, tennis courts, basketball courts, showers and so on. The price seems fair as well. I definitely recommend it!

Met some really nice people. Seen some very pretty cabins built by Stone Canyon in Brillant alabama
