Friendly, very personable staff. Never have to wait for anything. They anticipate your needs. The food is fresh and homemade....not heated up in a microwave! And the prices are very reasonable.
The soups are absolutely addictive! Would recommend for every meal of the day!

Every time we've been here, the staff has been great! The food is always amazing! Ruth is a great server. And nothing compares to their house cake!

Good place of you are in the mood to have an American food breakfast. Their pastries are super good and pretty. I always get their pancakes that are super big. Their meals are also big :)

Great food great desserts great service. Comfortable feel. Many regulars. One of my favorites in the twin cities. Family owned. Loyal staff.  If you haven't been to keys u don't know the twin cities

Came with a group of 8, planned it for a less busy time of morning to make it easier. Host and bussing staff were great. However our server was frustrating. 
After taking beverage orders, they came back to get our meal orders before we had beverages and while one of our party wasn't present. Server said it would be fine because they'd probably be back in time since large groups take time, also didn't ask if everyone present was ready, so we insisted we wait to order. They then took a very long time to return, at least 15 minutes, without checking in at all. My thought was they had a reason to rush us to order, but if that's the case, tell us. We were all talking so if we knew we had to wait, it would be fine, but the lack of explanation was frustrating. 
Other than that, the food was good,  traditional diner fare with a few twists, and a nice selection. Good for brunch.
I assume this service isn't typical, but when we try to be accommodating and get ignored, its hard to look past.
