I have always loved coming here, maybe because I'm biased because it was me and my wife's first date but she loves Chinese food in general. But we have always come here but specially for our anniversary. Today's meal was one of the very best meals we've had in our lifetime, not because the food was great(which it was) but the service was spectacular. Not only was it our anniversary, it was also my wife's birthday. Today, we decided to bring our kids with us to celebrate and I guess our waiter overheard our conversation about a birthday so at the end of our meal, the whole front crew from the restaurant brought out a dish of really delicious green tea ice cream and even sang happy birthday. My wife was definitely surprised and thought I had set the whole thing up but as much as I wanted to take the credit, I was honest and said I had nothing to do with it. Something funny did happen though, although they overheard the birthday thing, the just assumed it was my infant daughter's birthday so that was mixed up but can't bash them for that error, they went way above and beyond to provide us with superb service and how can I not leave a more than generous tip after that? Not just because my daughter made a complete mess like all kids do but the service was extraordinary. Well done, I will be back for many more years as long as I continue to live in Rutland and I may just come back even if I leave town because they made this day memorable!

The chow mein and low mein were great. As lunch specials they were a great value.
