Little Harry’s Restaurant is downtown Rutland’s oasis for the passionate appetite!

A favorite of locals, visitors, Killington Skiers, prom dates, families, traveling salesmen, leaf peepers, Castleton students, and Paramount Theater Goers, it’s a great place to meet for a drink, graze on appetizers or plunge into an entire soup to nuts extravaganza including our homemade desserts. We welcome you to our table, where you’ll find a menu that’s energetic, imaginative, and diverse. We love to cook but we love eating even more! Our commitment to flavor, freshness, and quality is apparent in every one of our dishes and it’s what’s earned us our loyal following since we opened almost 20 years ago. Ask a local what their favorite dish is! We bet they’ll list our Pad Thai, New York Sirloin Steak, or Green Curried Mussels but trust us – you won’t go wrong with any choice you make at Little Harry’s. And when you don’t have the time to stay and enjoy your dinner with us, rest assured that our entire menu can be packed to go! We call it “Little Harry Carry”, but you can just call it “delicious”.

Inside it resembles a classy pub or tavern, and it offers a large variety of wine and mixed drinks. The hot cider and rum had a nice spicy kick to it. Dinner included a salad and two varieties of bread (cornbread and presliced French bread or baguette) with whipped butter; brought to our table before the main course. The salad had a nice variety of vegetables in it, and the dressings on offer were eclectic - I ordered sweet and sour Thai and quite enjoyed it. My mom liked but didn't love her pad thai. I had the pan-blackened catfish, with a nice crispy outside and a soft flaky inside. It was a marvel of chemistry, really, and the combo of textures with the fruit salsa on top was great. My one gripe was that I wish the seasoning had more of something like cayenne or paprika. As it was it didnt have that savory-spicy kick I expected. Key lime pie was awesome. No complaints there. The graham cracker crust in particular was perfect, moist but flavorful. If I lived around here I'd definitely go again.

Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Waitstaff is pleasant and attentive. The diverse menu offers options for all. The bar is usually full. Although not required, reservations are suggested especially on weekends. Good for date night, meeting up with friends or just a relaxing good meal.

Haven't been there in probably 7 or 8 years since I haven't been to Vermont but the place was just as good if not better than I remembered it. Food was outstanding, service was even better. A must stop based not only what I already said but also considering their menu is diverse enough to have something for every taste.

The foods are awesome especially the seafoods because its my favorite. The staff are very helpful and attentive to customers orders. I'd love to eat here everyday.

My favorite date night spot. Discovered this with a friend, then went for a graduation party dinner and now it's my favorite date spot! Amazing food, friendly service, great atmosphere. Try the dumplings!
