I have lived  here 4 years, it is low income housing. When moved in, excellent management. Soon after, months in between having managers. We have had about 7 in four years....months in between. Crimes in the building are horrible, from thefts, break-in, rape recently. The building is filthy. Our latest...6 months...manager is abusive verbally. She makes comments about low income people and her supervisors at Cascade are very slow moving on solving problems. The manager said it is the rape victims fault cause she did not lock her door. Disgusting comment! She shares personal tenant information with other tenants. She knows shortage of apts and threatens when we complain. 
There have been homeless using drugs, open sex, and fights in our building in halls and stairways.manager said  what do we expect when we get next to free rent!  
Washers and other appliances have been broken down for months. Manager stated too bad, she is here to save owner money not spend it on things that low income housing should not have to begin with. 
There are many complaints. We are fighting back and started a tenant union. It seems not easy as Cascade just does seem to care about their renters. I wish the owner would stop by. He needs to go talk to us tenants. There is proof we are now living in in un safe conditions, when we were told this was a safe and secure building ! Use to be......is no longer. 
If anyone reads this and can help, please do. We are about to hire one attorney to represent us all. Being abused by the manager is a horrible way to live! And I have never been late on my rent!!!!

My girlfriend lives in this building. It is in a pretty bad area as far as crime but it is a secure building you need a key code, key fob, or someone to "beep" you in. All the apartments have entrances from inside the building. The tenants are for the most part very respectful. The place is fairly new and any maintenance requests are handled pretty quickly. Management staff changes frequently so not always sure what to expect.
