Nice big rooms with a full kitchen. We got a room with a separate bedroom and a fold-out bed which was good for us. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was fast and convenient. The hotel is located next to a Target and other places to eat and Shop. It is also about 50 yards from the max station which will take you anywhere in Portland just about.

The hotel is very nice looking. The rooms are modern and bright. The mattress isn't as comfortable as other hotels I've been in, but it's not bad. The front desk staff is awesome. They were able to accommodate us by having a room ready early so my baby could take a much needed nap. The location is perfect. It's only two stops from the airport on the light rail but your can't hear the airplanes at all. And the light rail stop is in the parking lot of the hotel. There is a shopping center within walking distance with a Target and some other places.

My $170 studio suite looked great to start with... we rented it based on it being advertised as a kitchenette. The food I had required an oven. Their kitchenette had no oven. Then I had an idea to rearrange the sectional couch. Bad call. Moving the furniture showed years worth of trash not cleaned up by the maids. It was so disgusting I had to put the furniture back to hide the existing mess... it took me back to an article I had read about how many four star hotels are nowhere near as clean as most 2 star motels. This proved it to me. Please move the furniture when you check in.

It's in the same lot as a Target and Subway which I was apprehensive over initially, but it actually worked out perfectly. We were able to scoot over to Target for a snack and some swim trunks for the hot tub before they closed (at 11p). The room we stayed in was very nicely furnished - granite counter tops, an electric stove, and a decently sized bathroom area. The King-sized bed was so comfortable that we inquired at the front desk at check out if we could take it home with us. Hotel staff were conciliatory and the complimentary breakfast was filling, albeit not the tastiest.

The staff is great and very accommodating. Breakfast every morning is better than many of the hotels I have previously stayed at. Also they have evening events twice a week. It is convenient to the max (light rail) and a target is right next door to stock the fridge which makes your dollar stretch a little more.
