Delicious coffee in Springfield!! Conveniently located next to some hotels for business travelers. Great coffee. Great bites. Great people. Great spot!
I love this place! I'm from out of town but I made it a point to come here at least once when I'm here for business. I get the Matcha Latte and the Sprinter sandwich. Yum! The sprinter has strawberry jelly with ham and cheese.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Delicious hits every spot. We're enroute across the country and I was in the mood for coffee other than the hotel coffee, so as we checked out, I made sure we stopped in Echelon Coffee and they did NOT disappoint. We got there super early so it wasnt as busy. I wasnt sure what to get, but finally decided on The Formation latte. Krystin was super sweet in giving us details on the latte and prairie pie. As detailed as she was, I ended up getting a cinnamon roll. Thankful for Krystin's help. Super glad we stopped in for baked goods and spot on coffee/latte. If we ever somehow stop nearby or find another Echelon Coffee else, I'd definitely come back to it. Edit: I forgot to mention the latte and cinnamon roll... the latte is delicious in my opinion! Had the right amount sweet taste, but not overpowering, and cinnamon flavor that Krystin described - I had mine with oatmilk which added a nutty flavor. The cinnamon roll was also yummy. The dough was dense, but in a good way, and when I got to the middle, it was gooey of deliciousness. Wasn't too sweet either, just right. All and all I had a good cinnamony treat.
Got the Formation coffee iced. Delicious. Not too overly sweet, perfect iced coffee. Service was awesome and the environment has a nice coffee shop feel. Parking: Nice parking lot with nice exits onto the main roads.
This makes a great contemporary coffee shop for its location in the Northside of Springfield. I stopped by there this afternoon and got something a little different to go, from a coffee shop in a different part of town. This alternative coffee and treat was a Cortado and a Banana Chocolate Muffin. This was only my first visit to this recent coffee shop, but I really like it as much as Architect, a contemporary coffee shop in the Southside of Springfield.
I used to drive out of my way to pickup their Saturday morning biscuits and gravy because they were that good. Today I picked up my order to go and when I opened it I find they’ve changed the style of biscuit they are using. Please, please, please go back to the old style biscuit.
This is one amazing cafe. They roast their own and it’s simply wonderful with a great selection of beans from around the world. Today I had a light roast from Kenya with grape vanilla and chamomile flavor notes. One of the best I ever have had. And I have had top names from around the country. Excellent place. Vegetarian options: It’s coffee! Kid-friendliness: Beautiful modern decorated and great desserts anyone would enjoy including kids. Parking: Plenty of it
Bright, high-end feeling coffee shop at a busy intersection in Springfield MO. Not crowded. Plugs and wifi for my laptop. Breakfast and Lunch served all day. Ordered a mocha and it was quite tasty. Outdoor seating available. If they added whole grain bread and wraps it would be even better.
This is a very nice coffee shop. The location is good for people who work in the area and is nested between a couple hotels making it a wonderful place to get that early morning cup or that night cap of espresso. I was a bit taken aback the barista didn’t know how to do a traditional tall macchiato but they did have an extensive menu. The location, though great to get to, is on a side of town with a very large homeless/vagrant population as well as high crime. Having lived in the area my whole life I would recommend going in the day and with someone. However! The facilities are fantastic and the crew very nice. I do recommend and will be sure to stop in regularly!
So far, it’s terrific! I have enjoyed several drinks from the drive through, but just went into the shop for the first time today. This shop has a unique atmosphere, with subway tiles, grey marble, and ultra modern lighting. Overall, it has a very distinct feeling in a city with lots of coffee shops. Drive through is plus! Drinks are good, I have tried The Formation, the iced strawberry mocha, the cortado, and the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. All have been good, but the Yirgacheffe is somewhat different to what I’ve had from other shops, but still had wonderful blueberry notes. I always check the bathrooms too, as a bad bathroom experience can wreck my opinion of a place. Bathroom was clean and well laid out. Instead of men and women’s, they have 2 family restrooms, which is nice because you don’t have to worry about being locked out if you really have to go. I have high hopes for this shop, and I’m glad to see it so busy so soon after opening.
